The Desert of Georgia showed up and showed out during the 2023 Imperial Session in Tampa, FL. We captured so many awards and accolades, and they are still coming in, but here is just one of the accomplishments of the Desert of Georgia.
The Nobles of Al Sarra Shrine Club holding allegiance to Omar Temple No. 21, Oasis of Savannah, Desert of Georgia. Al Sarra established a Minibike Unit and entered the competition during the 130th. Imperial Session held in Tampa, Florida. Al Sarra participated and earn the top spot as the First Place Winner. The unit was awarded the First-Place trophy and $1,000.00 from AEAONMS. Al Sarra Shrine Club is made up of predominate members of the Active & Retired Military and Law Enforcement. The shrine club serves in the communities of Hinesville/Ft Stewart, Ludowici, Pembroke and Midway Ga.
The members of the Al Sarra Minibike Units are President Noble Malichi Fogle; Noble Edward P. Russell, PP; Noble Jervis Taylor Sr., HPP; Noble Edward R. Thompson, HPP; IP Kirkland Croker; Nobles Tyrone Fair, Bobby Johnson, Harold Cooper, Timothy Young, and Wayne Hewett.
Al Sarra plans to attend, participate, and defend their 1st Place Championship Status 2024 New Orleans, LA., by winning the competition again!
The Desert of Georgia day at the United States Capital of Georgia.
On March 26, 2024, Noble Corey D. Shackleford, PP, Deputy of the Desert and Dt Sharon Lawson-Mythis, PC, Deputy for the Desert of Georgia, Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, North and South America, Inc. Together with Nobles and Daughters from across the domain of Georgia journeyed to Atlanta, Georgia for Desert Day at the Capitol.
There they met with members of the Georgia State Legislature and attended a session.
